Curious about how vulnerable the pet food industry is to dumping of #H5N1 infected animals. I’m guessing that’s where cattle and chickens end up when they are preemptively slaughtered before diagnosis. If you are a farm owner facing killing all of your animals, would you try to sell them to pet food makers? Then, cats and dogs eat the infected animals… @HelenBranswell any idea?
