So... youtube is silently starting to shove their auto-generated mixes into every other youtube video i search up. There is no sign whatsoever that i am clicking into a mix, and sure enough when i do its an auto-generated playlist, y'know, the kinds that just plays trough without autoplay on?

This is very clearly intentional and predatory, to keep users watching when they just wanted to watch one video

You can see in the screenshot below a video highlighted with my cursor leading to a link with one of their mixes, despite the video looking like just a video

This fucking sucks, i noticed it happening because i have an extension to block the auto-generated lists and i saw it block these normal youtube videos, i turn it off, and discover this shit. can tech companies not try for five fucking minutes to milk every second of our conscious time?

Yesterday has been a seriously distressing day. a lot of emotional buildup happened, and I did what I do best, express myself trough art.
I wouldn't usually share this kind of thing, but I found the result rather interesting and I figured others might be curious to see raw creative and emotional artistic expression, as well as just spread the good word of constructive coping mechanisms

Having a healthy channel trough which to express your griefs and let it all out is paramount to taking care of your mental health, this can be anything constructive, it doesn't have to be visual art, so long as it's something that allows feelings to go out in a manner that isn't destructive to yourself or those around you, anything is a valid mechanism to adopt.

I'm doing okay now, worry not.

My creative muscle has been itching BAD the last couple of weeks.

i begun university and it has been eating most of my time, so i haven't had much of a chance to do much but study or wind down. today i really felt like doing something creative.
So i sat at my synth, and ended up recording a super brief section of cover of "The fire is gone" by Heaven pierce her in ULTRAKILL

i saved it in a floppy disk since my synth is an old one made for composing and recording entire tracks and save them as MIDIs

Then i decided to cut out a label for the floppy and draw some art on it.

Also! this will indeed have a nsfw version, and much like the chest being swappable between male and female, it will all be modularly swappable as well, i want this to be as non-binary and intersex friendly as it can be.

Been working on this #vrchat avatar for the past two months, and i'm slowly but surely approaching a point where i can start sharing around :>

it's not yet finished, but the bulk of the work is done, sculpting, retopology, rigging, uv unwrap and all those fun things :>

I even got it working right in unity and in-game, now it's time to pack it full of features :D

This project was born of one idea: i want this to be as interchangable as possible in how it presents. it already has a seamless female and male chest piece that swap, and it's going to have a lot more features like that. i'm also definitely putting face tracking on it, and all kinds of fun mechanics that i've learned trough observation and inspiration.

This has been so far some of the most satisfying creative work i've done, and even though it's not available to the public yet (will let you all know when it is :>) i'm super proud of it.

For context I was born, raised and currently live in Italy. In the past year or two I learned how to cook beyond the basics I already knew, and I've been enjoying it greatly. I know how to cook our traditional dishes by the book, as well as other dishes from completely different cultures, or improvise with whatever ingredients I have on hand.

Yesterday, my mother was telling some relatives about the pineapple and cashew rice I made for them, and how she was surprised to find it delicious.

The other relatives flew into a childish rage, voicing disgust for a dish they've never tried, and disappointment in me for #cooking non traditional foods in the country with "the best #food in the world". They listed how many good ingredients we get fresh here, and effectively implied that what I cooked was a waste of them.

Italy is not as good as you think.
Its a culture of stigma & hatred for #noncomformity

Given the big slice that nsfw assets brings to gumroad i wouldn't be surprised to see them fall apart, and honestly, i might wanna be part of that.

i already did not like gumroad because of the shady business they do with their "discover" functions where they take a large chunk of your sale if people found your asset trough their super basic search engine which is on by default, or their "affiliate" program which does something similar when someone shares your stuff with the intent of making money off of it, but this might be where i have to pull the breaks.
