It’s true that the Japanese culture, at home & in school, encourages cleaning up after yourself and sometimes even after someone else.

One of the Japanese phrases I like:
「発つ鳥　跡を濁さず」
Translation:
“A departing bird leaves no muddy traces”

Whether you "like" an individual or not is not pertinent. What is pertinent here is that we unambiguously refuse to tolerate the act of oppression.
