It won't make the AI answer more helpful.

"But we do this to prevent fraud/abuse" etc, I doubt it. They already know more about me than I do, and it does not benefit me.

Your product may be good, but it can be better when you acknowledge, support and give credit to what you did build on, at least they are the ones that made you to achieve today. :)

If you want to install Windows for any reason (or bought a new PC) but got asked for a Microsoft account which you can't skip, you can simply log in to this dummy account; "a@a.com" and "a" as password, so you don't need to deal with more technical command/registry tricks to bypass sign in step. Windows will say that the account is blocked, so it will let you creating a local account instead.
It should be your right to not sign in.

However, I don't believe that these stuff is in the good hands in the current situation.
I appreciate OpenAI taking steps to refrain their models from, copying... or as they say; "generating" inappropriate material, but these are not enough. They could have been more attentive to their models and audit them properly.
After all, it is a for-profit company, it is not there to be relied on, it is there to be generating revenue as first.

There is a huge misunderstanding that models can distinguish between good and bad, they can't. And models don't even "know" anything, it is trained on datasets, and programmed to answer according to input context, which is done by complex math calculations. ++

Turkey is already known for being evil in terms of internet freedom, and it is not the first time that ICTA doing this (banning VPNs and banning websites without a court order).
But they won't ever understand that there are ways and will continue to have ways to circumvent the censorship, it is more like a cat-and-mouse game.

It was an experiment of providing an interface to websites to check if device/browser is "trustworthy" - in different terms, websites could detect if you are using a rooted (or modified it in any way that the vendors/manufacturers do not want you to do) device and prevent you accessing that website.

Now, this sounds strange, because;
If Unity is going to count installs, does that mean that every game developed with Unity has to be connected to the internet, even if the game doesn't need it?
I'm not a game developer, but this approach is basically #DRM which affects consumers in a bad way as well.

And it can also unpack .rar archives by default.
People may think that free and open source software is only useful to the developer. But end-users can also benefit from it.
Like, it allows everyone to discover and patch exploits before even it reaches to the end-user, such as:

It basically allows browser extensions to communicate with the programs installed in your computer, the browser itself takes care of starting and terminating the program.
This feature can be used to build interactive online guides to automate manual tasks.
I'm still working on the extension to make sure everything is working seamlessly, so it will be released on GitHub once it is ready!
