Basically, an overridden (mostly) passthrough method took the wrong number of arguments, and Python couldn't care less; but it was wrong and it broke our system, even though the language thought it was fine.

Please can we make big applications in some other language, please.

Started playing some Dragon Quest X (via translation project) over the weekend, and like… especially the offline version may be my favorite #dragonquest game so far.

I love the story premise, the open world/progressions order, and changing classes is a lot of fun. Plus it seems there’s a lot of useful side quests that I’m looking forward to knocking out!

I built a retro came reader (from open source instructions) recently, and now I have a bunch of cross-region ROMs in a collection.

It's been exceedingly frustrating trying to scrape metadata from various sites for my collection, and now I'm afraid I'm about to start writing my own scraper tool.

If only EmulationStation would scrape and select regions based on ROM hashes rather then forcing me to select a region in advance...
