Yesterday morning's activity was walking a mile under the Central Freeway spur in SF (I wore a 😷) with dozens of folks from YIMBY Latinx, @urbanenviroca, and others to reimagine what it could be if it was removed-- housing, green space, busways and bikeways?

Fittingly, we ended at a green where the old spur was removed after the '89 earthquake.

This couldn’t be farther from the truth. The confusion generally stems from the exclusion of CFCs from GHG inventories due to historical artifact. (The Kyoto Protocol didn’t cover them since they were already covered by the Montreal Protocol, not because they weren’t warming agents.)
