@jimsalter nice OPNsense plug on 25A. My sysadmin at work turned me on to it and now my network is run by a Lenovo M920Q Tiny with a quad Intel NIC running OPNsense on Proxmox.

After 6 months of learning by doing, it's stabilized and I'm comfortable. Another coworker loaned me Practical OPNsense last week, so I can practice setting up routing protocols and site-to-site links.

We mostly support Forti and Meraki - pros and cons, value in options, but I've developed a preference for OPNsense.

That's before we start talking about the CIA black site where the US detains and tortures those who threaten its global hegemony. I hope every service member who has set foot at Guantanmo feels a deep and abiding sense of shame that haunts them for the rest of their lives.

Has 2.5A done many episodes on the Fediverse, ATProto, that sort of thing? The time is certainly ripe for discussion of the ecosystem and various different protocols.

I've settled on Mastodon and Pixelfed as I de-Metatize my life and I'm quite pleased with the platforms, but I've not engaged much with the actual framework.
