I had fun. I’ve not seen a lot of dance but think I broadly understood some of your layers and styles mixed into breaking. I liked seeing different elements of yourself come together. Just after you walked off stage, a dozen people around me eagerly dug into their programs to read about you.

Thanks for sharing your event. I especially appreciated that the company/theatre supported so many levels of disability.

Saw someone lurking inside Rockridge bart station as I moved though the millions-dollar unbeatable fare gate. (“Now, it’s tall!”) They slipped past me in the opposite direction while open to defeat it.

My only regret was that I kept my eyes down for respect, instead of expressing more community and solidarity with the fare evader.

Make public transit ride points free. Pay for it with taxes. Why is this so hard?

The SF Mayor taking to twitter with video boasting of arrests of 40 and no criminal charges? You’re cheering for fascism.

Of the 85 arrests at a similar raid at Jefferson Square Park, only three were charged for the purpose of this shock campaign, intent to sell drugs. Only one is in active prosecution.

Other charges were lots of wrong place/time about how they were surely going to buy drugs. The park was closed at night so that’s an easy loitering/trespassing arrest, too.

Had to immediately turn off a PBS News Hour/NPR segment on the 5-year anniversary of the Covid pandemic when they used rigid past-tense language. Something about “a million Americans died” instead of “have died,” over and over.

I just felt enraged and couldn’t even listen critically. It’s a direct connection between manufacturing consent for “pandemic is over” and normalizing our off-the-rails fascism.
