I'm a #Seattle based human who used to be in the #music biz but is pivoting towards #tech. I'm interested in #audiodev, early electronic music ( delia derbyshire and friends ), #rockclimbing, and #biking to name a few.

I drink way too much #coffee ( usually in the form of a quad shot #espresso out of my dinky breville ) and constantly wish there were more people on IRC i could talk to - so maybe this will fill that gap!

I really wish there existed a middle ground between the base <audio> html tag and “roll your own entire webaudio soft synth with an essay s worth of javascript”. I just want to style a simple audio player using css that is standardized across browser engines. Why is the audio tag so rigid!

Finally got a SAD lamp set up - it's not extremely game changing but it does makes the mornings just a tad bit better. I haven't yet figured out whether I like having all the lights off besides the big Sun Emulator or turning my normal lamps on as well. There's something about the cold hormone triggering SAD bulb that creates a chilling but productive scene in the morning.

I do wish there were a common pair of mnemonics for remembering which dang way the clock moves two times a year here.

Became inspired with buttons and thin black and white borders recently. While I do still miss my custom tree(1) layout from before, I think this new format allows for more expression and certainly easier to add content.
