I have performed my civic duty today. This year I am voting to save democracy. There are other things I would like to see happen in this country eventually, but first things first. We won't get any of that if we don't make it clear that we need rational thoughts and discourse in politics. Not hate, scapegoating, and narcissism.

Make your voice heard. It needs to be loud and decisive. There can be no room for misinformation and conspiracy.

This promise works great for trying to entice people over to their side. Once they have critical mass, what is stopping them from turning off the federation?

An interesting bill going through California legislature right now. It would allow user to sue developers for not adhering to the WCAG 2.1 AA spec. People working for a company would be sheltered from being directly sued, but independent contractors would be personally liable.

It is still just a bill, but sounds like a good time to get more familiar with accessibility standards is you have not already. There will be a lot of call for it if this gets closer to passing.

For JavaScript there are things like jsdoc. For Sass there is Sassdoc. It would be nice to have something similar where things can be documented in code and user reference then generated.

Older projects are getting noticed, and new projects are spinning up. This first phase of the shift looks to be mostly clones of things we are familiar with. If this continues, the next phase is going to be super interesting as we hopefully get fresh ideas on interacting with one and other. (Hopefully free of profit as a motivator.)
