Ideally aimed at documentation for software libraries, but any sort of tech topic is relevant for inspiration.

It's horribly ironic that I'm trying to figure out how a tool for generating documentation works and their documentation is shit. I can't get any overview, links point to pages with headers without text, it's confusing to navigate, etc.

This is about phpdoc / phpDocumentor.

There's got to be a better solution than this.

Every time I read someone mention "Cologne" I'm thrown off for a moment, because I struggle to connect it with the city Köln.
I've "always known" there was a city in Germany named Köln, but "Cologne" feels so different, and doesn't sound like a city in Germany at all.

It's not like Dortmund gets called "Tremogne" or something like that...

Try having the first and the third book of a trilogy in translated hardbacks, the second in original language paperback, and the trilogy's sequel, the two prequels, and the short story collection in original language dustcover-hardback, but from a different publisher than the second.

On a whim, I decided to look up maps and satellite photos of the farm where my mother grew up, which my late uncle inherited and worked most of his life.

Nearby were another old farm, where my maternal grandparents lived after my uncle inherited the farm (before I was born).

I finally managed to find it on old satellite photos, and did the mistake of comparing with new photos.

It's a parking lot now. And I can't stop myself from crying while writing this.
