I've been away from social dealing with family health stuff. Knowing how much social can impact my mental health, I stepped away to keep at my best for when the inevitable comes.

I spent the better part last night talking to someone I've only interacted w/a small number of times. I won't go into detail- but I could see their pain & suffering thru their words. They NEEDED someone to talk to - to just be there for them.

After talking them off the ledge, I told them I'd always be available for them to reach out to. I also gave them the 988 crisis hotline.

There is *always* hope. Reach out to someone - even if it is a hotline.

988 is 24/7 & free. Hold on. Keep fighting.

I truly hope whatever next year brings, even if it's not perfect, is for you to see how amazing you are - the strength you have that...
