I hate being asked "what have you been watching?" in the office. They'll go on about some movie or TV show that I haven't seen. That's fine and all, but I have nothing to add there. Also, I'm more likely to watch decades-old Geraldo specials about the Satanic Panic than I am normal stuff, anymore. For some reason, my girlfriend is OK with this! So, I have to figure whether I want my boss to think I'm boring, or that I'm weird.

MK: Annihilation gets a lot of crap, and honestly kinda rightfully so. The script and acting are terrible, not to mention the hilariously awful CGI. However, the movie is a lot of fun. Honestly, I liked it much more than the new MK movie. We watched Double Dragon afterward, and yeah, I didn't enjoy that one nearly as much. I get what they were trying to do, but that Mad Max meets Escape From New York aesthetic just doesn't work for a cheesy martial arts movie.

Honestly, it seems that the powers that be REALLY don't want us to own our stuff. I bought a bluray set of of Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig, and I had to remove over a dozen shards of broken plastic from the case. The hinge is broken, too. I've been noticing that the plastic on stuff like this breaks like crazy now. Also, the discs are barely secured, so any time I move the case, they'll slip off. Argh.

All those people whining about how "nobody wants to work anymore" are full of shit. I never wanted to work. I always have dreaded coming into work, and before that, school(even if it was something I didn't mind!). I understand the need to be a productive member of society, but I don't know if it's my ADHD, or that the system just sucks, but I really wish there was a better way.
