First post in discuss.systems? Why not some papers related to a project I'm working on @fission:

We're building a thing called IPVM (Interplanetary Virtual Machine) / Homestar (reference implementation), as "an open, decentralized, and local-first competitor to AWS Lambda", essentially. We focus extensively on replayability, capabilities, first-class Wasm, and content-addressing with heavy IPLD & IPFS leanings.

In building out IPVM/Homestar, we've been influenced by a ton of literature, which can be found here: https://github.com/ipvm-wg/research. Eventually, we'll probably write up a survey work on this, but big props to @cmeik on the Ambrosia reference, which has been indelibly useful. Otherwise, lots of good stuff in there, and the repo will continue to grow.
