I am going to learn more about lvm/brtsft. I was using that as my system partition and backup target for TimeShift. I had a minor startup problem that lead to a reinstall, and me giving up and just backing up and restoring using a real partition and RSYNC. I did learn a lot in the attempt. I've been running Linux on all my PC's for 19 days and this is the first issue I was unable to resolve.
