Food for thought for folks looking to redirect their twitter communities to the fediverse, in light of references to mastodon getting people banned:

When Freenode imploded, #sandstorm was one of the later projects to leave (we were waiting for the matrix bridge), so we knew that links to libera.chat in the topic would probably get taken down.

So instead we set the topic to something like "The Sandstorm community no longer uses this channel; see https://sandstorm.io/community for how to get in touch."

These tools would be so much nicer if it were possible to just write a builder that looked at the source code to figure out what the dependencies are.
