One of the cool things about writing free software is that there are companies that will provide you with their services gratis. Like #gitlab providing a free ultimate plan so that my CI doesn't have restrictive limits, or @Codemagic giving free access to mac buildmachines for iOS. Without the latter I wouldn't have been able to do an iOS port of Migraine Log.

And then there's Apple… charging me 99 USD/year to publish my free app.

A bit surprised that I had to dig into the C wrapper code to write some glue that lets me set the window title from dart (for localization), but it was luckily rather simple to write.

I'd like to maybe get some hardware I can run old (early 90's to very early 2000's) OSes/software on. I've got emulators but it's not quite the same. Looked at pixelx86, which look great but are very expensive with todays exchange rates. Are there other #retrocomputing x86 hardware that doesn't entail building it from scratch?

Getting actual vintage hw is an option, of course, but it seems to be getting somewhat scarce.

Finally stopped using #Pinboard, had an archive account since the great delicious exodus of 2010. It's practically abandonware at this point. Luckily there's #linkding (https://github.com/sissbruecker/linkding) for self-hosted bookmarks and it works really well. I've paired it with a #wallabag install for read-later articles, and I'm much more happy with this setup than I have been with pinboard for quite some time.
