I must have mentioned already that I very much love Nnedi Okorafor @nnedi and her writing. Today I finished reading her new novel „Death of the Author“, and yes, a finely spun novel, great Africanfuturism, and somehow it feels easier to tell what‘s not in it then to tell what is.

Suggestion: Get a copy and read.

TIL: They switchable between pointing to the magnetic or the geographic north pole. (Usually, for astronomy or most geographical stuff, geographic is what you want. It's not the default, the app imitates a magnetic compass.)
iPhone: Settings, search for Compass (in your language), then select e.g. "true north", "geographic north".
(I'd like to have both. Doesn't exist yet.)
