I have no idea what the details are and I'm sure it makes sense, but as a Dutch person having grown up in a country that both needed and rejected Moroccan communities, there's an uncomfortable familiarity here.

Every now and then, I'll feel silly and bad about doing so, but then I meet someone like the barista just now. I repeatedly said "my girlfriend", and he kept returning "boyfriend" to me. It makes me feel awkward and giggly, because the idea of a boyfriend is ludicrous to me, but it also makes me feel a bit sad.

It is, in fact, so tasty that I ignore the fact that the foam slowly disappears. The best coffee I've ever had continues to be a medium decaf cappuccino with cow's milk and splash of chocolate milk. Foam for HOURS, though not for days.
