I just released my reverse engineered line of Supersoft HR Graphics cards for the CBM PET Line of computers. The three cards for 9 and 12 inch, 40 and 80 colum PET/CBM machines feature 320*200pixel high res graphics that can be mixed with the standard text display directly on the integrated screen.

Over the last weeks i have built my own variant of the PetSD+ board, optimized as an cost- and feature reduced, external, case mounted, headless unit, connected with a true IEE488 connector, not unlikely the CBM D9060 and D9090 hard drives.
Thus it was aptly named the CBM D9069 :)

The main advantages over the old design are that the handle has an internal stop so that it does not spring open uncontrollably and has a ratchet mechanism that keeps the plunger engaged with the syringe at all times, helping the other ratcheting mechanism of the handle and allows for easy, continuous use with just one hand.

A friend of mine currently struggles with her #elgato #hd60pro mk2 that causes her #bluescreens, indicating #DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in the #SC0710.X64.SYS elgato drivers.

Anybody out there that had the same problems and could actually solve it? The web is full of similar stories, but no real advice other than hoping. :(

I have released my version of the TAST64 CBM2 to C64 keyboard adapter. It comes in two versions for the longboard and shortboard C64 (purely mechanical differences due to the mounting positions of the keyboard connector)
That's why I aptly named it "Tast32x2".

It can be used to connect a CBM2 (CBM500, CBM600 etc) keyboard to the Commodore 64.

Just got word from my first tester that my reverse engineered clone of the DB High-Res Card for the CBM PET (dubbed the DATA PECKER) works flawlessly. Including a modernized RAM-Board for the card, replacing the 8 6116 RAMS with a single CY62256.

I've been thinking about a switchmode replacement for TO-3 regulators that actually looks like a TO-3 part. I designed something based on the recommended circuit for a TPS56339 synchronous buck converter and that seems to do the trick. Will see how it behaves once built.

I went with the #Saia-Burgess F4T7-UL Switches as these allow the original stick gate to be kept in place and are good for 10 000 000 cycles.

Needs some fine tuning and then it will be available at my #github
