It is big news that Biden has visited Kyiv but I don't feel anything about it. I am completely numb to any news. I realise that there's almost no chance the war will end this year. People outside of Ukraine are used to this new reality. For us it is impossible to get used to it. It is constant pain and disappointment, loss, fear, and depression.

Spent the last 2 days learning Rust (on: https://rustforjs.dev/). I think I am too lazy for writing in Rust. There is so much more to think about compared to TypeScript.

Looks like Zig might be easier but still hard.

It feels like languages that have garbage collection are the best. Maybe I'll try ReasonML, which should be fast enough but without the references bs.
