Does anyone else find Rust's precedence rules for shifts wrong?
In Rust `1 << m - n ` equals `1 << (m - n)`, and not `(1 << m) - n`.

To me shifts are kind of like mul/divs by powers of two, so the precedence seems off.

Things like QTs not displaying by default (requiring a click-through), no algorithmic feed, the semi-isolation between instances, etc.

Makes using social media a slower and more thoughtful experience.

I'm Pratyush. I enjoy doing #cryptography, writing #Rust, and baking savoury breads. I work on the theory and practice of zero knowledge proofs.

I recently completed my PhD in cryptography at UC Berkeley. I am currently a cryptographer at Aleo. I will be starting as an Assistant Professor at UPenn next fall (if you're looking to start a PhD in applied crypto, please apply! We have a strong crypto group =))
