Is there a difference between:-

LLM (Large Language Models)
Gen AI (Generative AI)
ML ( Machine learning)

As I get the impression all 3 are being placed under the same AI Banner, which in some cases has nothing to do with Intelligence.

Does anyone know if @writefreely has any sort of limit on file size, even though the data is plain text how is it stored internally?

I am asking as my blog has gone down again, but one of the symptoms seems to be that I was unable to update one of my larger pinned posts, which is much larger than most of the other posts. I could still update smaller posts and create new posts.

I am just trying to see if there is something I am doing that may cause problems. I may have discovered something of course.

Snap Electronics Amplifier

This is an education electronics kit we have at the STEAM cafe and Discovery centre, it is designed for education, I was experimenting with this at the Tinkerers meeting today as the centre is looking at running workshops using these kits.

Another good meeting today, we had an update on the Drag Car that Helen is working on, this now works better, sub 2 seconds for the track, however it seems to spin after slowing down.

But great progress.

Given that the US is putting tariffs on British steel, why don't our companies who build ships etc, just buy British steel.

We are going to have to start ramping up building of military kit too, tanks and other vehicles as well as planes etc.

It looks like https://www.fediverse.to/ is STILL DOWN, how are people meant to attract people to, and promote the fediverse if the very sites with easy information don't work properly.

I am trying to raise awareness of alternatives / replacements and this really does not help.

I recently joined Devon Connect ( https://devonconnect.org/ ) which is a website platform designed to help bring communities together. Just e-mailed them to ask if they could include the ability to link to Mastodon, PixelFed and Peertube as part of the social media links when adding activities.

If anyone else is from Devon, it may be worth also getting in touch on the same subject or at least ask if there is support for these platforms.
