The Matrix server at matrix.hackers.town has become too encumbered to continue. I am shutting down the server, wiping the drives, and freeing the cloud resources.
It turns into a lot of administrivia to keep a ~200 user Synapse server running, federated with a couple thousand other machines and GBs of media generated per day. I tried to keep up and have lots of scripts and DB cleaners working, but it has only delayed the inevitable.
