Seriously, fuck Coinbase for this shit. As someone who personally fell down the rabbit hole of cryptocurrency in high school and truly thought it was going to save the world, this marketing campaign is a massive slap in the face.

Cryptocurrency only serves to perpetuate this oppressive capitalistic regime, where only the lucky and the fascists have any power and the poor are made to suffer. Fuck Coinbase, and fuck anyone involved in this manipulative campaign.

I suspect at least part of the Material UI and super-minimalistic interfaces generally is just that you can get prototypes out the door much quicker and you don’t have to spend nearly as much time on QA.

Reminds me of some months back when a few of those clowns boycotted a vote on a gun measure in one of the chambers because it could have theoretically ended all asylum in the US. Hatred of immigrants met love for guns, and love for guns lost. Lmao.
