Picking a fringe prospect and hoping against all hope that they turn into a "poor man's Mike Trout" or some other tortured comp is a treat all baseball fans can enjoy, especially with the MLB team sucks. (looking at you #Rockies) I haven't had a guy like this since Garrett Hampson, so it's well past time. I'm thinking of going all in on Jordan Beck. If he's actually a dude, it's going to be fun.

In what is sure to be a lost, meaningless season overall, I do find myself very invested in Brendon Rodgers' continued growth and excited to see if Ezequiel Tovar can turn into a dude. I think I'm ready to quit being a Ryan McMahon fanboy, but I could be persuaded otherwise.
